The Pandoras, a fiber arts group to which I belong, decided on a challenge we call “Four Pieces.” We all chose a 4x6" photo, blew it up by 400% to approximately 16x24", and then cut it into four pieces about the same size (in my case, 6x16"). Each person in the group got a different piece, and was sent home to recreate that section of the photo using whatever fabrics, materials and techniques she wanted to explore.
This is my section of the quilt. I will post my friends’ sections and show you how the whole thing goes together once I have all of their pieces.
